Abstract
⺠ESG had potent anti-inflammatory effects on the LPS-activated RAW264.7 macrophages. ⺠ESG inhibited the PGE2 release and COX protein expression. ⺠ESG suppresses the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF-α and IL-1β. ⺠ESG inhibited the LPS-stimulated expression of iNOS and NO generation. ⺠ESG inhibited LPS-induced activation of NF-κB by blocking phosphorylation of IκBα.
