Abstract
► Ethyl acetate fraction of M. myagroides (EFM) inhibited inflammatory response. ► EFM suppressed iNOS and COX-2 expression via inactivation of NF-κB pathway. ► Topical application of EFM reduced mouse ear edema. ► Phlorofucofuroeckol B having anti-inflammatory activity was isolated from EFM. ► EFM could be used as a therapeutic agent for the inflammatory diseases.
