Abstract
⺠Ethyl acetate fraction of M. myagroides (EFM) inhibited inflammatory response. ⺠EFM suppressed iNOS and COX-2 expression via inactivation of NF-κB pathway. ⺠Topical application of EFM reduced mouse ear edema. ⺠Phlorofucofuroeckol B having anti-inflammatory activity was isolated from EFM. ⺠EFM could be used as a therapeutic agent for the inflammatory diseases.
