Abstract
⺠The increase in the MHC class II expression induced by Nattectin, and CD49a are dependent on its lectin function. ⺠Nattectin induces MMP-9 production and endocytic capacity depends on lectin function. ⺠Nattectin induces M1 activation of macrophages. ⺠The influx of macrophages induced by Nattectin is totally dependent on IL-4 and IFN-γ. ⺠IL-4 is able to work as a coadjuvant with IFN-γ and IL-12 in the macrophage M1 polarization induced by Nattectin.
