Abstract
⺠We demonstrate that arsenic affects transcription of CYP3A4 in hepatocytes after 6 h. ⺠Low nanomolar concentrations of arsenic decrease CYP3A4 levels. ⺠The proteasome pathway affects RXR-alpha levels in primary human hepatocytes and in the hepatocarcinoma cell line, HepG2.
