Abstract
⺠We measured nitric oxide (NO) levels of sera and neutrophils in 19 patients with CGD. ⺠Patients who received IFN-γ showed higher NO in their serum. ⺠NO levels from their neutrophils increased significantly after adding IFN-γ in vitro. ⺠Increased NO production by IFN-γ could be a mechanism for its therapeutic effect in CGD patients.
