Abstract
⺠Levels of LXRs expression were decreased in the lung tissues of rats with ALI. ⺠Activation of LXRs by the synthetic agonist T0901317 ameliorates lung histopathologic damage. ⺠T0901317 also suppresses lung inflammatory responses and inhibits neutrophil transmigration. ⺠This is linked to inhibiting NF-κB activation and decreasing ICAM-1gene expression.
