Abstract
Low-salt diet modulates mesenteric vascular responses via increased NO bioavailability suggested by increased iNOS protein expression and vasoconstrictor prostanoid production via COX-2 pathway, in SHRs. Neither ROS nor the local renin-angiotensin system is involved in these responses.
