Abstract
⺠Exercise training diminished the skeletal muscle wasting in diabetic rats. ⺠Exercise training decreased oxidative stress and inhibited MuRF1 expression in diabetic rats. ⺠Oxidative stress-induced MuRF1 upregulation promoted proteasome dependent degradation of MHC in myotubes. ⺠Anti-atrophy effects of exercise on diabetes is mediated by downregulating MuRF1 and preventing the degradation ofMHC.
