Abstract

âº Early onset schizophrenia (EOS) is severe neurodevelopmental disorder. âº Cognitive impairment and formal thought disorder influence general outcome. âº Risperidone efficacy on cognitive deficits and thought disorder in EOS was assessed. âº Risperidone treatment was associated with partial improvement of thought disorder. âº Risperidone treatment had limited efficacy for cognitive impairment.
