Abstract
⺠We evaluated peak and trough D2 receptor occupancy levels in patients with stable schizophrenia. ⺠D2 receptor occupancy was estimated from plasma antipsychotic concentrations. ⺠Approximately half of the subjects had a trough D2 blockade of < 65%. ⺠Sustained, higher D2 occupancy may not always be necessary in the maintenance phase.
