Abstract
⺠Significant interaction for the A/G genotypes of the 5HT2A-A1438G polymorphism. ⺠The ALDH2*1*1 genotypes discriminated between BPI patients and healthy controls. ⺠No association between the ALDH2 or 5HT2A gene with bipolar-II disorder. ⺠The importance of ALDH2 and 5HT2A in BP by increasing serotonin metabolism.
