Abstract
⺠Ten functional dopaminergic gene polymorphisms were studied in India-Caucasoid population. ⺠Significant preferential transmission of the DRD4 7R-T haplotype was observed. ⺠Bias in transmission of MAOA 3R-T & DAT1 9R-5R haplotypes was also noticed. ⺠Interaction of polymorphisms with DBH activity and hyperactivity score was detected. ⺠Data obtained indicate a “hypodopaminergic” status in Indo-Caucasoid ADHD probands.
