Abstract
⺠Cholesterol levels have been associated with psychiatric and behavioral disorders. ⺠5-HTTLPR genotype has been found associated with lipid levels in elderly population. ⺠Children and adolescents with l allele had higher LDL and total cholesterol levels. ⺠5-HTTLPR genotype has an effect on lipid levels already in young age.
