Abstract
⺠We review the links between endocannabinoids, depression and actions of antidepressants. ⺠Deficiencies in endocannabinoid signaling produce symptoms of depression. ⺠Facilitation of endocannabinoid signaling produces antidepressant-like effects. ⺠Endocannabinoids may mediate the effects of some conventional antidepressants.
