Abstract
⺠Elevated plasma Aβ42 levels may be a significant risk factor for the development of AD. ⺠This study investigated the relationships between depressive symptoms, cognitive function and plasma Aβ levels in community dwelling elderly. ⺠This study showed that plasma Aβ42 levels were positively correlated with depressive symptoms and cognitive decline. ⺠This study supports the possibility that plasma Aβ may be involved in the development of late onset depression.
