Abstract
⺠Low folate levels have been implicated in cognitive impairment and depressed mood. ⺠Cognitive performance and mood were assessed in two large population-based samples. ⺠Folate-related TS, SHMT1, and MTHFR polymorphic variants were determined. ⺠None of the polymorphisms were associated with cognition or mood state.
