Abstract
⺠Changes in symptom reduction may not parallel changes in cognitive performance.⺠Voluntary eye movements may be a sensitive measure of cognitive change. ⺠Initial cognitive level may determine cognitive response to typical antipsychotics.⺠Cognition is the strongest predictor of prognosis, thus these concepts are critical.
