Abstract
⺠Plasma SOD activities were measured in first-episode schizophrenia. ⺠SOD activities were significantly higher in first-episode patients. ⺠SOD was negatively correlated with positive symptoms of patients. ⺠Oxidative stress occurs in an acute stage of schizophrenic episode.
