âºTranscranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is effective in bipolar depression. âºThe effects of 5-days of tDCS are acute and long-lasting. âºTDCS is more effective in severe depression. âºThese results should be replicated in sham-controlled, double-blinded designs.
