Abstract
⺠Bumblebee venom serine protease (Bt-VSP) is a fibrin(ogen)olytic enzyme. ⺠Bt-VSP activates prothrombin. ⺠Bt-VSP directly degrades fibrinogen into fibrin degradation products. ⺠Bt-VSP is a hemostatically active protein that is a potent clinical agent.
