Abstract
(E)-2-(1-(4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yloxyimino)ethyl)-1,4-dihydroxyanthracene-9,10-dione (AODGlc), a new anthraquinone derivative, interaction with ctDNA was investigated through molecular docking. The docked structure exhibited the optimal energy ranking results of AODGlc interaction with ctDNA. It suggested that the chromophore of AODGlc could slide into the G-C rich region of DNA.
