Abstract
⺠We evaluated the kinetic interactions of a series of bispyridinium oximes with phosphylated human AChE. ⺠The position of the oxime group(s) is decisive for the reactivating potency. ⺠Different positions of oxime group(s) are important for different organophosphates. ⺠The nature of the linker, oxybismethylene or trimethylene, is obviously of minor importance. ⺠No single oxime was effective against structurally different organophosphorus inhibitors.
