Abstract
► We examine the effects of galangin in high fructose-fed rat liver. ► Fructose induces metabolic changes, oxidative damage and inflammatory response in liver. ► Galangin treatment prevents the detrimental effects of fructose. ► Treatment with galangin prevents the adverse changes caused by fructose. ► Galangin exerts antioxidant and anti-inflammatory and lipid lowering effects.
