Abstract
⺠We examine the effects of galangin in high fructose-fed rat liver. ⺠Fructose induces metabolic changes, oxidative damage and inflammatory response in liver. ⺠Galangin treatment prevents the detrimental effects of fructose. ⺠Treatment with galangin prevents the adverse changes caused by fructose. ⺠Galangin exerts antioxidant and anti-inflammatory and lipid lowering effects.
