Abstract
⺠In this study we determine the effect of Keap1 siRNA on the Nrf2-ARE pathway. ⺠Keap1 siRNA activated the Nrf2-ARE pathway and protected against oxidative stress. ⺠In vivo, Keap1 siRNA had modest protection in the MPTP model of Parkinson's disease. ⺠We conclude that Keap1 siRNA is a potential therapeutic for Parkinson's disease.
