Abstract
► We assessed potential peripheral neurotoxicity of elemental mercury. ► Subjects had urine mercury and sensory nerve function measured on the same day. ► 3594 observations from 2656 subjects were available for analyses. ► Urine mercury levels in our study population overlap with the general population. ► Urine mercury level had no consistent association with measured nerve function.
