Abstract
⺠We assessed potential peripheral neurotoxicity of elemental mercury. ⺠Subjects had urine mercury and sensory nerve function measured on the same day. ⺠3594 observations from 2656 subjects were available for analyses. ⺠Urine mercury levels in our study population overlap with the general population. ⺠Urine mercury level had no consistent association with measured nerve function.
