Abstract
- We examined the relationship between GB/GF exposure and brain structure in Persian Gulf War (GW) veterans.
- GB/GF exposed veterans had reduced total gray and white matter relative to the unexposed veterans.
- There was an interaction between Gulf War Illness/Chronic Multisymptom Illness (CMI) and GB/GF exposure on gray matter volume.
- Brain pathology can be detected in GW veterans nearly two decades after low level exposure to GB/GF.
