Abstract
⺠Levetiracetam potentiated the anticonvulsant properties of procyclidine and caramiphen sufficiently to terminate soman-evoked seizure activity. ⺠In combination with levetiracetam procyclidine ensured a markedly higher survival rate than caramiphen. ⺠The potent anticonvulsant capacity of procyclidine observed in the present study is in compliance with the high impact of this drug in seizure controlling sites in the forebrain.
