Abstract
⺠Food allergen labeling regulations differ significantly around the world. ⺠Different jurisdictions identify different priority food allergens. ⺠It is not often clear what criteria were used to identify priority food allergens. ⺠The standards for adding and removing priority allergens differ widely. ⺠Harmonization of these regulations will require uniform risk ranking criteria.
