Abstract
⺠We evaluate the mammalian toxicology of a transgenic protein, AAD-1. ⺠AAD-1 provides herbicide tolerance in genetically modified corn. ⺠No toxicity was observed in mice after acute or 28-days with AAD-1. ⺠We conclude AAD-1 corn represents a negligible risk to human health.
