Abstract
⺠Menthol is compared to other terpenes like camphor, thujone, and eucalyptol. ⺠Chemistry, channel interactions, and primary metabolism are different. ⺠Menthol shows anticonvulsant properties in vitro and in animals. ⺠No seizures have been reported after menthol overdose in humans. ⺠Seizures have been reported after camphor, thujone, and eucalyptus oil.
