Abstract
⺠We reported the cellular responses to treatment with cigarette smoke and smokeless TPPs in short-term cell cultures. ⺠Combustible TPPS induced more DNA damage, IL8 secretion and cytotoxicity than smokeless TPPs. ⺠PBMC subsets exhibit cytotoxicity to treatment with combustible TPPs: CD4 > CD8 > monocytes > NKcells.
