Abstract
- Cryopreservation causes detrimental effects on spermatozoa at structural and molecular levels.
- Rehabilitation of such injured spermatozoa is a crucial step to improve rate of fertile sperm.
- Effect of MSC-derived microvesicles (MVs) on sperm quality were investigated.
- Frozen-thawed sperm were assessed for viability, motility, antioxidant capacity and expression of surface adhesion molecules.
- The MSC-derived MVs showed to be efficient trophic nano-shuttles for improvement of sperm quality and adhesive properties.
