Abstract
⺠We investigated the effect of the bispyridinium compound MB327 in human and rat muscles. ⺠MB327 restored soman-blocked muscle force in a concentration-dependent manner in both species. ⺠The therapeutic effect of MB327 was not due to reactivation of inhibited AChE. ⺠MB327 may be considered a promising compound for the treatment of nerve agent poisoning.
