Abstract
The results of this preliminary assessment showed that the in vitro γH2AX assay by HCS could be used as a pre-screening tool to detect and quantify the genotoxicity effect of cigarette smoke toxicants individually and in binary mixture. Moreover, the data produced could contribute to the prioritisation of toxicant reduction research in modified tobacco products.
