Abstract
⺠Vulnerability of developing rats to lambda-cyhalothrin at dose 1/60 and 1/20 of LD50 demonstrated. ⺠Post-lactational exposure to lambda-cyhalothrin decreased rat striatal DA-D2 receptors. ⺠Decreased DA-D2 receptors associated with impaired motor activity and coordination on PD50 and PD65. ⺠Involvement of 5-HT2A receptors in the neurotoxicity of lambda-cyhalothrin shown. ⺠Neurobehavioral changes may be intense if exposure to lambda-cyhalothrin continues.
