Abstract
► In this study, we constructed a cDNA T7 phage display library from sea snake. ► Many reported and unreported sea snake venom proteins were identified. ► Four different short chain neurotoxins (SNT-1, 2, 3, 4) were cloned and expressed. ► SNT-4 was a new neurotoxin and showed potential as pain killer. ► The interaction mode between SNTs and nAChR was simulated through computer modeling.
