Abstract
⺠Influence of nanoparticle aggregation on toxicity was investigated with silica-based materials. ⺠No impact of aggregation on cytotoxicity was found in J774 and 3T3 cell lines. ⺠Surface area dose determined cytotoxic activity irrespective of aggregation state.
