Abstract
► Microcystin-LR causes reorganization of cytoskeleton and inhibition of PP2A simultaneously in a human liver cell line. ► MC-LR markedly increased the level of HSP27 phosphorylation with the enhanced distribution of phosphorylated HSP27 to the cytoskeleton. ► The increased HSP27 phosphorylation is regulated through p38MAPK and JNK, possibly as a consequence of PP2A inhibition.
