Abstract
⺠Deuteration of PUFA protects from nigrostriatal damage in a preclinical PD model. ⺠Substitution at bis-allylic sites in LA and ALA prone to autoxidation is protective. ⺠PUFA isotopic reinforcement may be a strategy to diminish nigrostriatal degeneration.
