Abstract
⺠Bone marrow toxicity is one of the most common adverse effects observed in oncology drug development. ⺠Because of the critical roles kinases play during hematopoiesis, many kinase inhibitors are associated with bone marrow toxicity.⺠An effective method to knock down a gene of interest was established in hard-to-transfect hematopoietic stem cells. ⺠Our results support a direct role of Chk1 in maintaining normal hematopoiesis in the bone marrow.
