Abstract
⺠Chrysene acts as a photosensitizer in the presence of UVB irradiation. ⺠Chrysene produced reactive oxygen species, oxidative stress, apoptosis and DNA damage in human skin epidermal cell line. ⺠Chrysene may be phototoxic as well as photogenotoxic under UVB irradiation.
