Development of an in vitro test battery model based on liver and colon cancer cell lines to discriminate PCB mixtures by transcription factors gene expression analysis

On the basis on Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) we propose the combination of six target genes (AhR, AR, PXR, PPARγ, ERβ and THRα) and two cell lines (HepG2 and DLD1) as a suitable tool to discriminate PCB mixtures effects also considering cell-type specific modulations.
