Abstract
⺠Cosmetic active ingredients often are mixtures from natural sources. ⺠In vitro tests should be tested for their capacity to assess mixtures. ⺠Botanical mixtures were spiked with different doses of three sensitizers. ⺠The ability of the KeratinoSens⢠assay to detect the spiked constituents was tested. ⺠Analysis allowed determining the minimal level of sensitizers being detectable.
