âº Design of a testing strategy involves biological and statistical considerations. âº Select compounds to span a wide range of outcomes of interest. âº Perform all assays with all compounds to avoid missing data. âº Design experiments carefully to guarantee reliable and meaningful estimates. âº Avoid overfitting, use cross-validation and bootstrapping to estimate error rates.
