Abstract
⺠An in vitro NASH model was created in SK-Hep-1 cells using palmitic acid and TNF-α. ⺠Palmitic acid promoted TNF-α-induced cytotoxicity by blocking survival signaling. ⺠This in vitro model may be used to screen drug candidates for the treatment of NASH.
