Abstract
⺠An in vitro method allows to identify early onset of drug-induced cytotoxicity. ⺠Cellular oxygen consumption, acidification and impedance is monitored. ⺠Metabolic activity, cellular respiration and cell morphology is changed by drugs. ⺠A strategy is proposed to address potential risks for drug-induced cytotoxicity.
