Abstract
► This is the first work applying machine learning method to predict the types of ion channel-targeted conotoxins. ► Overall accuracy achieves 89.3% for the prediction of potassium, sodium and calcium channel-targeted conotoxins. ► The model can be used to annotate the function-undefined conotoxins.
