Abstract
⺠A new in vitro skin sensitization test based on the production of ROS was developed. ⺠30-min exposure to skin sensitizers induced ROS production in THP-1 cells. ⺠High predictivity on an in vivo test (82% accuracy) was obtained. ⺠Skin sensitization potency can be predicted based on ROS production.
