Abstract
⺠Chinese hamster lung fibroblast cells exposed to nano-TiO2 demonstrated cyto- and genotoxic responses. ⺠There is a correlation between cyto- and geno-toxicological endpoints using different TiO2 samples. ⺠The treated cells demonstrated the intracellular ROS generation, a common toxicity mechanism. ⺠The polyacrylate coated nano-TiO2 decreased the cyto- and genotoxicity responses.
