Abstract
⺠HOCl decreases the activity of antioxidant enzymes in A549 cells. ⺠HOCl brings about the hyperpolarisation of the mitochondrial membrane and intracellular stress. ⺠Albumine is more effective scanenger of HOCl than low molecular weight antioxidants.
